BOOK JACKET SYNOPSIS

Etienne Lewis is tall, gorgeous, full of swagger, and dreams of being a superstar hip-hop artist.  He thinks the only thing in his way is having been adopted by the Lewis’s with all their money and prestige.  In order to get more in touch with his roots and boost his street credibility, he moves to the hood, hangs with thugs, and distances himself from everyone who loves him.  In the end, will Etienne, aka Gemini, find fame to be everything he hoped it would be?

Bryce Lewis is the mirror image of his brother, but they couldn't be more different.  Bryce, the cerebral one, was trying to fast-track himself through medical school and follow in his father’s doctoral footsteps.  Unlike his brother, he’s ashamed of his roots, and feels blessed to have been adopted by the Lewis’s.  He finds freedom to be himself on his college campus, but can a twin sibling ever cut the mental, physical, and emotional umbilical cord from their womb mate?

Savannah Lewis is beautiful, sexy, and spoiled!  Basically, she's a princess and the most dramatic thing she has to think about is being extremely popular and her upcoming Super Sweet Sixteen Party.  Above all, she can't wait for her brothers, Bryce and Etienne, to graduate and leave their mutual high school campus so she can let her hair down and be her own person.  Is she really ready to navigate the perils of impending adulthood without her ever-watchful guardians to make sure she stays out of trouble?

Isaac Shaw is a brilliant, well-rounded kid, whose passions fall into one of two categories: football and girls…and they don’t always fall in that order.  He has the knack of using what he had, (curly hair, pretty-boy looks, and eyes that change color with the season), to get what he wanted. Unfortunately, the one girl he wanted was his best friend’s girl.  When his best friend gets caught with his hand in the cookie jar, will Isaac take the opportunity to pick up the pieces of his dream girl’s broken heart?

Olivia Shaw may be young, but she is still as sassy and savvy as her mother, Ramona.  Olivia is smart and talented…two traits she showed off well as part of her hip-hop styled dance crew, Divas and Dons.  Her obvious physical beauty and budding femininity make her a very popular girl that drives the boys at school crazy…but none more than the new kid on the block, the son of a pro football player.  Will the pressure of it all be too much for her to handle without caving in or breaking?

They are the poster children for young people everywhere who are facing the types of issues, problems and pressures their parents only fractionally experienced.  Follow the offspring of the Lewis’s and the Shaw’s and see that the things their parents went through in the first series were nothing more than child’s play.

SAVANNAH LEWIS

There is more to me than meets the eye.  All my life, I’ve been adored, spoiled, and catered to by my parents, siblings, and peers.  You would think I’d be rotten to the core, but I’m not…at least I don’t think so.  I love being me! I’m beautiful, I have a banging body and I’m at the top of the social popularity totem pole at school.  I mean, I’ve led a pretty charmed life thus far, so what more could I possibly want?

I want to be more than just another pretty face so I am involved in things in school the air-head girls find boring. I’m interested in community work and focused on my academics because I like being way smarter than people think I am when they first meet me. I find myself bored with the antics my fellow schoolmates deem interesting.  This puts me in quite a few sticky situations over the course of the next two years as I search for love, liberty, and my purpose in life.

If you think that girls like me…girls with everything going for them…can’t experience failure, loss, fear, passion, and pain; you have another think coming.  First up, my Sweet Sixteen!

OLIVIA SHAW

Being a pre-teen was hard, but I seemed to breeze through any roadblocks and jump over all the hurdles without a care in the world and with the greatest of ease. That is, until I turned thirteen.

Suddenly, there are new issues, new hassles, and new challenges.  And this stuff isn’t only affecting me; it’s creating problems for my whole crew! I’m part of a dance group called “Divas and Dons” and we perform variable hip-hop routines in talent shows, at parties and hired events.  Yes, we’re so good, we get paid for it! My crew consists of three boys and one other female, my best friend, Missy.

In the preadolescent age bracket, we dabble in everything: pop culture, Internet trends, fashion, technology, music and budding sexuality.  I’m going to continue to try to keep my name out of all this mess…I just hope I’ll be successful.

BRYCE AND ETIENNE LEWIS

We are here to double your pleasure and double your fun.  One of us is a beast on the books and the other is a beast on the beats.  We’re identical twins but complete opposites in every way possible.  We walk, talk, and dress differently, feel differently about our sordid childhood from before we were adopted by Keith and Cheyenne Lewis and we absolutely feel differently about school.  The only thing we each want from the other is the very thing we can’t seem to provide: unconditional love and support.

It becomes obvious, after having spent eighteen years worth of day-in and day-out with one another, the only way we’d be able to be our individual selves would be to separate and immerse ourselves with the time-consuming tasks of pursuing our dreams.  This strategy probably would have been effective had we been even remotely able to escape that indestructible soul bond twins inherently have.ife keeps pulling us back together, despite all efforts to remain apart.

It’s hard being genetically linked to someone who has the power to be your very best friend and your fiercest enemy.  Will we reach our dreams or co-destruct…at this point, it’s anyone’s guess.

ISAAC

Luckily, I’m the type of guy who has been naturally blessed with all the things girls find attractive: good looks, a muscular physique, full lips, hazel eyes, raw sports talent and swag for days.

I really like hanging out with my older cousin, Etienne.  He’s the kind of cool ladies’ man I want to be all my life and I’m not wasting any time getting started.  The honies stay buzzing around me and I want to pollinate with all of them.  I have a little secret relationship going on with one of the girls that live across the street from me, but she’s nothing compared to the sweetheart I want to call my girl.  Only problem is, she’s my best friend’s chick and it doesn’t look like she’s leaving him any time soon.  I guess I have to move on and make do with other girls…right?

Football, females, and fun are all on my mind and I’m a MONSTER at all three!  Keep an eye on me ‘because I’m heading to the top of every game!
